Jacqueline Nathan

Jacqueline S. Nathan served as the Gallery Director at Bowling Green State University from 1985 to 2022.  During that time she organized 300+ shows, and curated more than 45 thematic and one-person exhibitions, She has a B.A. in Art from Northern Illinois University, and an M.A. in Community Arts Management from the University of Illinois at Springfield.

A co-founder of the Black Swamp Arts Festival, Nathan has worked with many community and campus groups, and served on the local humane society board for many years. She has repeatedly been appointed as a panelist for the Ohio Arts Council and has received numerous project and organizational grants from state, local and regional organizations. She currently serves on the boards of Ohio Designer Craftsmen and the Bowling Green Arts Council (BGAC), and for several years has organized the BGAC Better than Ever Senior Art Show, Downtown Arts Walk, Artists 4 Animals and Art in the Park.
